Mod Development and me

I've started to work on a mod. Currently, it's under prep, but I've been trying to assemble a team just to be safe.
What nags me is how in the world am I going to keep this organized, and avoid wasting talents? I've been discreetly assembling a small modding team, but I expect it to grow larger with time. I don't have much experience with modding except mapping, and that's it.
I also need to find out if I will release the mods in episodes rather than one, full mod. Sure, it takes longer time to develop, but it's easier, demanding less people and less work.

The mod currently has two maps, and one chapter. The first map is the background map, for the menu. The other one is object higlighting, for testing purposes. The chapter is simply named "test".

Who wants chowder?

What's up?

Been busy NOT updating this blog. Sorry.
Cosplayed at Torucon last week. It was awesome. Nordic Garrison showed up and kept us safe from those rebel scumbags. Even Darth Vader took his time to visit us! (Note to self: Stop kneeling in the dust whenever he passes)
Been playing awfully lot of Minecraft online with some friends. We've built a great town/HQ, and will now proceed on creating a workplace. I'll get my own office.

Also been playing Underhell: Prolouge. It's a great mod, but with bad optimization. Built on Smod and filled with features that enables and disables themselves in various maps.
Yeah, Underhell is a horror/action game. The "Horror"-part is at the hub, your house, where you start. It acts like an interactive chapter selection. Oh, did I mention it's haunted? No? Well, I did say it was the horror-part, yes? I've screamed a lot because of this mod. Your dead wife who committed suicide in the bathroom haunts you... Or is it just your guilt? Because when you hear it coming, you need to hide.
The action-part is awesome, but ridiculously unrealistic. You control Jake Hawkfield, a SWAT member. You are a one-man army, and your mission is to stop a hostage situation. However, this doesn't seem like to be a normal hostage situation, as it turns out something else is going on here...

It's a mod made by Mxthe in collaboration with WeCreateStuff, responsible for Portal: The Flash Version (And the map pack for Portal 1), Echoes, and Nightmare House 2 (Which is set in the same universe as Underhell).

It's a great mod, but as I stated, the optimisation is horrible. Even though I turned off HDR, lowered the Shader-settings and stuff, the game still lags in the Mall-part of the Prolouge. The house is fantastic, but because of the random events set there, it's hard to feel safe. And for the love of god, don't go in the bathroom.

I can't wait for Chapter 1.

Also, WoW are going to update soon with a new raid; It's time to face the badass himself, the traitor Deathwing. Be prepared.

Forever Alone

Blagh thrrreeeeeh (Post 3)

Not-so-fun fact: The firemen who participated in the salvage & rescue during 9/11 actually have a higher chance than any others to get cancer.

Tomorrow's going to be awesome and tiresome, as me and my friends is going to play Minecraft 10+ hours. It's going to smell, I'll tell you this.
Anyways, Started out the day as usual; took the bus downtown in Trondheim, ran to another bus and took that one to school. It's my usual route to school back and forth.

It's taking around an hour.

And I've heard rumors of Skyrim being delayed. Bullshit, I say. If Skyrim gets delayed for even a DAY I would become pissed like the thousands of other fans around the globe. I would smash my way to DC and rip their fucking spine off from their body and use it to pick my teeth. Would never happen, I know. But still.

Also, my friend Vic, the top writer for LambdaGen, posted this image from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It's an awesome reference to the Half-Life franchise. Deus Ex, you so silly.

That's enough for me for now, see you laterz.

Hola!
Right now I sit upside down doing nothing, as there is nothing to do except write a new blog post.

This Saturday I'm going to a Minecraft LAN fest, and we will livestream it! I'll post a link here, so be sure to press it when it's time! (Note to self: Get more viewers.)

Also, I'm working with creating the logo for the blog (A column rising up to the sky), but hasn't been successful yet. If you could help me out, then I would appreciate it. Send any suggestion at Emild00d[at]gmail[dot]com.

Today's been an interesting day. Our gym was taken over by political parties to share with us the joy of being either a communist, socialist, capitalist, democratic et cetera.
Ap with AUF-recruiting even! I'm tempted to join after a short talk, but it costs a 10 NOk fee, which I don't have on me... Oh well. Might as well just send them a text message and pay instead 20 NOK.

Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to relax the next hour.
